The Ennedi region in North eastern Chad is a photographers delight. And if you happen to be an astrophotgrapher the region is truly one of the best locations in the world from which to photograph the night sky. The dry climate with zero light pollution makes for the perfect conditions for astrophotography. Unfortunately the region is difficult to get too and has security concerns as well, but once there, the heavens literally open up for you. Numerous rock formations dot the region against which to frame the night sky and one of them is a cave with five arches….
